Nien Homestays began as one apartment in Greater Kailash II split into private rooms — Birch and Oak on the second floor, Maple on the same landing, and Nido, Ninho, and Niro one flight up. Six rooms, two floors, one address.

The name traces back to the same idea in three languages tucked into the room names themselves: nido, ninho — nest. That's the whole pitch. A quiet room in a busy part of the city, run by people who actually live nearby and answer the phone.
